Do you Accept the Challenge? Episode 29

Every Tuesday morning we wake up to a new episode of Family Looking Up with an amazing guest on the podcast.  They share their knowledge and experiences with all of us and hopefully give us some ideas of how to make our families a little better.  At the end of each episode we ask them for a “Mom Squad Challenge.” These challenges are meant to give us something plausible we can think about, work on, and apply to our lives each week.  This is one of my favorite parts of the episode. Instead of just hearing information and then moving on, we have the chance to make small changes for the better.

In this episode Andrea, Beth, and Camille talk about some of our favorite “Mom squad Challenges” from past episodes and what we have done to apply them to our own lives.  We share the challenges that have made positive impacts in our lives and the ones that we completely failed at.

  1. Mom fail, I was watching a friend’s children while she went to the doctors so I had my almost 5 and 3 year old, my ten month old and her 18 month old and her 2 month old baby. So my 10 mo old crawled up to me and when I picked him up I smelled a poopy diaper. So I took him downstairs to change his diaper and my almost 3 year old comes up and says there’s poop on the floor. I tell him no there isn’t, I’m changing baby’s diaper and it’s bad but not that bad, that it’s just a dirty spot. Anyway, he insists there is poop on the floor so I give him a wipe and tell him to clean it up. Well, I go into the kitchen and sure enough there is poop on the floor. My friends son had also pooped and it had spilled out the back of his diaper, I found a couple spots where a chunk had fallen out. All was cleaned up before his mom returned and I mopped my floors. Lol
